In which I return from a sabatical
Sorry folks, I'm a lousy blogger....
Too busy trying to save life, the universe, and everything to post much anywhere.
But it's October, and NaNo season again.
Last year's NaNo story is languishing in the electronic equivalent of a beaureau drawer. I still can't stomach the thought of looking at it, and it's currently unsalvagable. I think I'd drown in the angst if I reread it. Maybe after it's sat for another long while I can tackle it again.
In the meantime, I've written some shorter stuff. And of course, I've started plotting for NaNo 2006. This year's piece should be more light-hearted and fun. There's a Terry Pratchett influence in the plot.
And I'm doing it on Writely this year. This is so I can't use "the dog ate my hard drive" as an excuse, among other reasons. Actually, I'm testing the "share as you go" waters. If you have a Google account and ask me nicely and promise to praise it to the skies no matter what you really think of it, I might be willing to give you viewing privileges.
Yes, I'm using the infamous Snowflake Method again. I'm keeping that on Writely too for now. I will, however, work harder on the scene level details this month so I hopefully won't have to resort to exploding penguins at the end.
